My real name's Jean-Paul Berthelot, I was born on the 23rd of April 2007, making me currently 18 years old. ...And I've been always interested in tech and computers in general since I was 5! I've worked for years on a multitude of different projects, all of them receiving quite a small success if I do say so myself!
... we don't talk about that time I tried making music though.
I am also reachable by email through The Sirio Network's contact page, it's up there in the navigation bar at all times.
Hello there! I probably should properly introduce myself a little bit better.
Once again, my name's Jean-Paul Berthelot, although personally I'd rather be referred as my username which is Ascellayn (pronounced
I've been working on a LOT of different things over the past 11 years (yeah I started VERY early), here's by chronological everything I've been acquiring over the years in skills and projects I've done!
Here's a quick list of all the things I'm capable off:
HTML/CSS at a relatively high level (check out this website's style!)
Python at a professional level (check out projects such as "TSN Abstracter" or "Kosaka"!)
JavaScript at a beginner level (DON'T. Check out this webpage's JavaScript code. I'm really not proud of it. Improvement comes with time, I haven't had the chance to dedicate myself fully to JavaScript yet.)
Video Editing at a pretty good level (check out my YouTube Channel!)
Blender 3D Artist at an amateur level (The Sirio Network's Logo, the background image for this page, were all made by me in Blender!)
Graphical Design at an amateur level (this website counts right?)
Repairing computers or phones My two primary phones I daily drive were actually purchased broken and I fixed them up myself (two iPhone X, swapped the screen, battery and case which is quite the task...)
UI/UX at a decent level (check out my most popular project that was Flashcord! Although that project is now defunct)
It depends where you've come from to be on this page, but my English proficiency is very high! For those unaware, I am in reality french, I learned English entirely on my own (neither of my parents or family speak a word of it) through the incredibly powerful tool that is the internet! I guess you could also mark that as a skill of being able to learn things remarkably quickly.
System Administration (Linux)
I'm currently studying at Epitech Rennes for their Bachelor Program to become a Fullstack-Developer.
I started dipping my toes into making videos all the way back in February of 2015 however, over that decade I've learned many valuable skills in understanding how to create a community, understand what the market (in this case the viewers) wish to see and try to grab attention, work with video editing and understand tools such as DaVinci Resolve and Photoshop.
I'm now capable of creating professional looking videos and or tackle on bigger projects requiring lots of VFX work.
DaVinci Resolve (Video Editor)
Blender (Backgrounds, Logos)
Adobe Photoshop (Thumbnails & General Graphic Design)
What used to be a simple project of just providing game servers to people, The Sirio Network is now more than just server hosting, it is an umbrella for an ideology.
Reinvent and improve the wheel in ways never thought of before, pushing the absolute limits of what can be done.
The Sirio Network (TSN) regroups now most of my major programming related projects, all while attempting to build for people, fighting to innovate and push limits.
Countless programs and software limit themselves for profit or have plain issues that are simply never addressed, here at TSN we wish to be as responsive as possible and try our very best to be consumer-friendly and respect them.
TSN's Servers are currently used for numerous thing such as hosting our website, mail server, services (Kosaka and Flashcord in the past).

SNDL has gone through a lot, technically originating back from 2019 before TSN was even created. SNDL's goal is to be finally a breath of fresh air by playing with colors and depth.
SNDL is also our guideline for our graphic design and is the origin of TSN's logo.
SNDL is heavily inspired by the Fruitiger Aero's vibrant and transparent style while still maintaining some more modern elements from most notably the Fluent art style.
CSS (Responsive Design)
Graphic Design (3D Modeling)
Flashcord is a now defunct major modification to the Discord Client Interface.
It was quite possibly and still is the most ridiculously over-engineered Discord Theme to ever exist, bringing an extremely modern and fluid feel to an application I use everyday a lot.
The theme was enjoyed by over 100 people, getting a user base of at its peak of at least a thousand, it is currently the first and only project that reached financial success through donations.
It was originally created to improve my CSS skills, but it quickly evolved into a project that really emphasis on giving the user more space for what they're likely going to do:
This means that it intentionally slightly hid certain unnecessary elements such as channels and the list of members when you're busy typing messages.
It also introduced a way to apply effects to your own messages (without JS!) and had ungodly huge customization features as the whole theme was built from the ground up to be for people.
The tagline for the customization was "Don't like it? Just disable it.", which really worked and attracted a lot of people.
One of Flashcord's strongest points was also how fast new features were implemented, with Flashcord being only usable as a "rolling" theme (push updates as soon as possible rather than wait for proper releases).
UI/UX (Funnily enough certain design changes added in Discord are suspiciously very similar to Flashcord's)
CSS (Abusing and pushing CSS' absolute limits)
Originally created during Kosaka's and TSN Trinity's very early development, "TSNA" is a Python module containing numerous functions that all new Python Projects from TSN now uses.
It simplifies drastically the development process of TSN's Services in an elegant way.

Kosaka's development dates back to 2022 but compared to the modern day version of it, it barely is recognizable.
Kosaka is currently closed source to try to get a large user base before open sourcing it.
I am afraid the code gets easily stolen or repurposed somewhere else hence why I'm protective over its code as of right now.

Based on my favorite Linux Distribution, Debian, Adellian is a set of scripts to configure a Debian environment into an incredibly bleeding edge and efficient to use setup.
All while having the philosophy of being for power users, having the least amount of "bloat" and keeping the user in complete control.
Adellian is currently the newest project I'm working on and is still quite very early into its development cycle.
